Grace Jones consistently managed to stun and shock people; even up to this day. She is most famous for her image rather than her songs or films, and her image has inspired me so for my Ballet project. I know what you are thinking, ballet and Grace Jones in the the same sentence? Just look at her poses, her silhouette, how can this not inspire me? Her masculine features are a great contrast to the soft colours and fabrics used in ballet and her poses are more geometric than ballet-esque. This is the type of coupling I'm looking to shoot for my project.
